We have a unique opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer reporting to the Software Engineering Manager in Global Products Group.Asa Software Engineer, you will work as part of a team in ourengineering product development group; responsibilities include:
Architect, design, implement, verify, and support complex software/test automation systems Work with cross functional teams with Process Engineers and Electrical/Mechanical Engineers, providing Software and System Design input and review
Accept technical responsibility for the project and staff working on the project
Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the product or service
Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system design weaknesses byestablishing characterization software programs at the system and sub system level, defines test plans, and helps manage system level risk
Clearly communicate and present designs and tradeoffs to development/testing team, customers, and potential customers
Support internal and external customers
May visit customer site to provide support
Offer mentorship and technical guidance for junior engineers
Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the architecture used across multiple products or systems
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of related experience with a B.S in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field; or 5 years and a Master's in Computer science; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent experience.
Real time software development experience in real time operating systems
Technology/engineering/machine control programming experience with semiconductorfabrication products preferred.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detail
Successful track record of working withina matrix technical environment
Real time software development experience in real time operating systems
Must be a flexible team player, willing to engage in diverse technical challenges requiring creativity and critical reasoning
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Work effectively as a member of a product development team
Define problems and success criteria, develop solutions, and define test strategies, analyze data, and assess the effectiveness of the solution
Write system and sub system requirements
Conduct system architecture analysis and developing models
Design experiments to characterize sub systems and system performance
Develop cost reduction tradeoffs, yield improvement, and cycle time reductions
Familiar with various DepositionProcess Technology (PECVD, ALD)
