The Digital IT Project Manager (DITPM), reporting to the IT Project Management Office (PMO) Director, will help analyze business requirements, establish new projects, monitor progress and deliverables from both business and technology standpoints.
The DITPM will be responsible in managing international IT initiatives and projects.
The IITPM will facilitate multiple projects implementing a wide variety of business software applications. The IITPM will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution/governance and reporting. This is a senior level PM position with regular exposure to business and technology executives. The position will collaborate with team peers, business partners, subject matter experts, and developers to establish the business and technical direction of solutions according to different regional needs.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the transformation of legacy Digital Web and Mobile applications
Manage multiple projects often with complex cross team dependencies and competing priorities
Prepare and present status reports to senior business and technology management. Set customer expectations and provide clear and concise feedback throughout the project lifecycle
Lead cross functional project teams by task assignment and follows up to ensure on-time completion
Conduct planning sessions and develop road maps with key project stakeholders
Facilitate in leading planning meetings, reviews, issue resolution and retrospectives
Organize the development work queue, sprints, schedule releases and manage project risks
Develop and maintain project plans, estimations, specifications, flowcharts, and presentations
Proactively identify and resolve issues that may negatively impact a project timeline or deliverables
Ensure on time and on budget delivery of projects while also ensuring that SDLC processes are properly adhered to during the execution of the project.
Track utilization of project resources and manage this against the resource allocation and budget. This includes on time entry and approvals for project timesheets.
Manage projects through the Agile software development life cycle (SDLC) from start to finish
Step in as Scrum Master when needed to build consensus and work as part of a team
Participate in a culture of continuous process improvement
Build and maintain positive and effective relationship with International line of business stakeholders
Skills & Requirements:
US Citizen or legal permanent resident with valid passport
BA/BS or equivalent experience required
5+ years of experience project management or equivalent
Strong attention to detail
Strong written, organization, and communication skills
Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
Ability to conduct defect analysis and reporting
Capable of multi-tasking and evaluating various business applications
Experienced operating in a Scrum Agile environment
Understanding and experience with Project Management processes
Experienced with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheets, Confluence, and JIRA
Expert in building and presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint
Moderate experience with process design, data collection/mapping, and analysis
