ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for sustaining and optimizing the Impedance Standard Substrate (ISS) manufacturing process.

  • Establish, sustain and optimize manufacturing processes for high yield and short cycle times through the use of statistical process control tools.

  • Ownership of the thermal anneal and thermal trim processes used in producing high frequency calibration structures.

  • Responsible for tool matching and Statistical Process Control setup and tracking.

  • Develop and implement 4-point measurements to improve measurement accuracy.

  • Document processes clearly and concisely and trains technicians to work instructions.

  • Assist in capital equipment planning, budgeting, order placement, installation, process development, and qualification.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Materials Science. MS/PhD preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of practical experience in a semiconductor, microelectronics, or similar setting is required.

A demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting semiconductor equipment and processes issues required.

Familiarity with mechatronics, precision assembly and semiconductor manufacturing techniques preferred.

A demonstrated track record of managing complex projects to successful completion.

Additional Preferred qualifications:

Experience with LabVIEW and creating scripts for data acquisition, instrument control, and industrial automation.

Proficiency performing statistical analysis with a software tool such as JMP, Statgraphics or MiniTab.
