We are looking for team members who come to the table with a shared passion for making food the world loves. As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for the for supporting production packaging and processing operations and sanitation.
Pay Rate:
$18.00 per hour
Annual progression increases to $23.00 per hour
Shift differential
Additional $.25 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shift
Additional $.50 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift
Overtime (1.5x hourly rate) for hours worked over 40
Holiday pay (if eligible for holiday pay and holiday is worked, 2x hourly rate)
Weekly pay via direct deposit
Schedule:
8-hour shifts
1st shift: 7 am to 3 pm
2nd shift: 3 pm to 11 pm
3rd shift: 11 pm to 7 am
Shift schedule of 2nd or 3rd shift to be determined during orientation and based on availability and business need
Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Plant operation is 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
Your seat at the table will include: (Duties and Responsibilities)
Following all company safety policies and procedures to support the company's journey to zero human and food safety incidents
Follow all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and procedures to ensure the safety and quality of our products
Operate semi-finished product bulking stations in the Fruit Snacks Department
Maintain continuous product flow by communicating with Upstream and Downstream Operators as well as monitoring product surge Levels
Performing product Quality Control Checks
Completing proper Inventory and Material Management Procedures
Loading and/or dumping raw materials into production equipment (cartons, corrugate, ingredients, semi-finished product)
Hand stacking, bulking, or hand palletizing semi-finished or finished product
Sorting or collating materials or product
Sanitation duties to support production including but not limited to sweeping, trash removal, floor scrubbing, or four-step cleaning
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance
Assisting in training new Associate Operator employees
Attending meetings and training on or off shift, as required
Performing additional related tasks as assigned
Leading with and championing human and food safety
Your recipe for success must include: (Minimum Qualifications)
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have the ongoing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency in basic computer skills
Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to lift, move, push, pull 50 lbs as required by the position
Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces
Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
Willing and able to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends, daily overtime, or overtime outside of your regular scheduled hours as required (more than 40 hours per week)
Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net, and gloves when required
Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated leadership ability
Technical experience
