ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• First point of contact for service requests initiated by phone, email, or automated ticketing system.


• Provide fulltime (40 hours) onsite support for walk-ups, troubleshooting onsite tools and equipment, and IT Infrastructure as needed.


• Performs troubleshooting support for desktops, laptops, software, printers, phones, and conferencing equipment.


• Provide computer software and hardware support for various clients in-house, remotely, via phone, email, or IM as it relates to PCs, printers, and peripherals.


• Fosters and maintains professional relationships with clients and fellow workers to meet or exceed our expected customer service commitment.


• Documents incidents and resolutions, escalating issues when necessary.


• Assigns users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory.


• PC setup and deployment for new and existing employees using standard hardware and software as needed.


• Provide training as needed to users on software, hardware, or conferencing system.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Associate degree in Computer Science preferred.


• A thorough understanding of computer and network systems technology including basic networking protocols such as DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, etc.


• Minimum of 2 years' experience with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.


• Understanding of client/server connectivity.


• Working knowledge of relevant software applications, hardware, and equipment. Including expertise using and supporting Microsoft Office applications.


• Requires excellent communications skills both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical training and support to non-technical users.


• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and priorities effectively and respond with appropriate level of urgency.
