About the Job:

We have an amazing opportunity in our brand-new Minneapolis office for an Analyst on the Category Management team, located ideally in MN but open to remote locations.This position will play a valuable role by providing data-driven category insights and strategy recommendations to our external partners.

• Perform competitive analysis by category to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges to core business areas


• Discover category trends, fair share opportunity gaps, and share of wallet and leakage opportunities and share with Category Manager to develop customer recommendations


• Create reports to include monthly region, market, and customer trend reporting, distribution grids, new product tracking, velocity reports, plan-o-gram development, and pricing & promotion analysis


• Build iterations of customer-specific category planograms as aligned with customer and Category Manager


• Assist in requests by senior management for information/presentations to support strategy, drive sales and execution of category vision


• Establish strong knowledge of the customer/category and the Danone North America product line to assist in strategic business calls

About You:

• 4 year college degree in Business or related field (Finance, etc.)


• 1-3 years previous experience in category management or within CPG industry


• Knowledge of syndicated data required, proficient in shopper/panel data and space management a plus


• Expertise with MS Excel and PowerPoint


• Comfortable with occasional travel


• Estimated time in role: 1-2 years

The base compensation range for this position is $60,000-$65,000.
