The Position:  The Quality Auditor performs a variety of duties relating to in-process inspection and finished trailer inspection.
 

Requirements:
•    GED or high school diploma is preferred.
•    Ability to accurately read a tape measure and other measuring and testing equipment.
•    Must be competent in math to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure – whole numbers, fractions and decimals. 
•    Ability to document written information accurately and legibly.
•    Aptitude to learn and retain new information.  
•    Ability to follow instructions, given either orally or in writing.
•    Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
•    Ability to stand and move about on concrete 8-12 hours a day
•    Ability to see, walk, bend, reach, grasp, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, carry, climb, work overhead, use both hands, push and pull.
•    Ability to do heavy lifting (50 pounds) multiple times daily in a 8 to 12 hour shift.
•    Ability to maneuver large parts and assemblies (up to 100 pounds) by pushing, pulling and flipping them into place.
•    Ability to work outdoors

Responsibilities:
•    Inspects trailer and trailer components using bill of materials, sales orders, measuring tools and inspection procedures. 
•    Writes and reports findings on appropriate documentation.
•    Operates trailer-moving equipment.
•    Observes all safety and security procedures.
•    The employee must perform the assigned tasks in a manner in which they meet or exceed the required production level.  
•    The quantity of units, parts, assemblies and/ or installations that is expected will vary with the process being performed, customer specification, volume and location.
•    Quality Control must inspect his/her product as instructed by standard operating procedures. 
•    Quality Control must be accurate in inspection and reporting.
•    The Quality department inspects the trailer at the end of the line for defects. Defects are reported back to the department and investigated for cause and effect.
