A 16- bed Critical Access Hospital is seeking a Manager of Health Information Management to join their team. 

This hospital is a 51,000-square-foot facility that was constructed in 2012. Bond-funded and 100% union-built, the three-story community hospital has 15+ beds and 9,000-square-feet of covered parking. As a critical access facility, offering a broad range of health services including ER services, Surgical Services, Swing Bed Rehab, Laboratory, Imaging, Cardiopulmonary, Primary Care, Behavioral Health and Orthopedic Surgery. 

As the HIM manager you will direct and coordinate the coding and audit functions of the Health Information Management Department. The HIM Manager will develop annual coding education plans, conduct regular and ongoing audits to assess coder performance, assists with the development and implementation of new programs, policies, procedures, and method relating to HIM coding. The Manager of Health Information Management will also ensure timely and accurate coding, monitor unbilled account reports, create and monitors inpatient case mix reports, assure compliance with confidentiality and record release policies and assist with managing the medical data systems. The most successful candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with RHIA certification.
