Position Overview
This position reports to our Senior Brand Manager of Marketing and requires a dedicated, self-motivated, energetic individual who will develop, manage, and execute the long-range and annual brand marketing plan and activities for the Wayne Dalton Sales & Service team within the Access Systems Division of Overhead Door Corporation. This includes marketing planning and budgeting, brand positioning and communications, and promotional planning and execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Works with the Sr. Brand Manager and Wayne Dalton Sales & Service Managers to develop and implement the marketing objectives, strategies, and the long-range and annual plans for each location.
• Manages marketing budget and spending for Wayne Dalton Sales & Service.
• Monitors performance measurements to ensure sales volume and shared objectives are accomplished.
• Manages all messaging, digital, media, and creative for Wayne Dalton Sales & Service.
• Interact with all organizational levels within Access Systems Division and Wayne Dalton Sales & Service.
• Manages and submits co-op claims for ODC locations under the Sales & Service division.
• Delivers a variety of media including local ad and lead-generation campaigns, websites, SEM, social media, sales presentations, display advertising, e-mail, trade shows and events.
• Creatively identifies opportunities for lead generation and growth by effectively utilizing market research, competitive analysis and trend analysis.
• Works with vendors to create promotional/sponsorship ideas that support the brand, delivers on consumer/trade/segment objectives and delivers sales growth.
• Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of promotional programs and sponsorships.
• Works hand-in-hand with the Wayne Dalton and Genie sales organization(s) to ensure that corporate objectives are met and that our strategies and programs are effectively implemented.
Skills/Experience Requirements
• 2+ years of brand/marketing experience, preferably in a CPG or Consumer Durables company.
• Results-oriented with a strong record of execution and accountability.
• Ability to manage and complete multiple high-priority projects and activities with strict deadlines and limited internal staff and budget.
• Exceptional communication skills (written oral, presentation), strong editing skills with a great attention to detail.
• Graphics design experience preferred (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to gather, coordinate and synthesize data to develop understanding of key insights.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree.
Physical/Work Environment Requirements
