Who You Are...

As a Civil Engineer III in our precast construction division, you will work with key business leaders to develop key relationships with contractors in the area and pursue future business growth through bidding of projects.

This Position...

Is under the direction of the Chief Engineer and works closely with the General Manager, is responsible to design custom precast products, prepare builds for construction projects, and coordinate with production to ensure product inventory is available. 

Some examples of the work you might do includes.... 


  1. Manage multiple projects, and ensure each complies with local, state, and federal regulations.

  2. Manage plant specifications and designs under NPCA guidelines.

  3. Complete take-offs and project estimates including labor, material, and related costs.

  4. Prepare engineering design by collecting and studying reports, maps, blueprints, and construction specifications.

  5. Work with production to ensure product schedule meets client delivery date.

  6. Develop and maintain relationships with contractor and the Company, acting as a link between both parties.

  7. Confirm adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress, inspecting construction site, and verifying calculations and placements.

  8. Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests in a timely manner.

  9. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  10. All other duties as assigned.

What Do You Need...


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering required.

  • 7 years engineering experience required.

  • Engineering experience in a precast manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Professional Engineering license preferred, or ability to acquire.

  • Expert level in the use of CAD products and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent business management, developmental skills and financial management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, leadership and employees.
