Responsibilities:
Accountable for prioritizing, coordinating, accuracy, compliance and leading the team in all functions in the department. Train and guide subordinates; cross train staff to ensure appropriate back-up. Assist in addressing employee performance issues and in annual performance reviews. Monitor team performance; communicate issues and changes to superiors and/or staff. Assist in interviewing applicants; hiring and termination decisions.
Accurately enter or update ACH banking instructions and/or payment information in loan management system and/or bank websites. Balance, upload and transmit daily ACH files to the bank. Generate, review, distribute and/or process a variety of daily operational reports from internal systems and bank websites. Review daily positive pay exceptions from bank, research items and make payment determinations.
Monitor department email box, promptly and accurately process requests and/or respond to inquiries from internal and external customers. Take corrective action as necessary to resolve issues. Record, analyze, and/or resolve complex transactions, adjustments, and reconciling items. Research and assist Accounting Department in the reconciliation process for multiple general ledger accounts, including processing necessary entries to clear outstanding items.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of processes within assigned area of responsibility. Identify department inefficiencies; suggest process improvements to management.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience: 3-5 Years Banking, Accounting/Finance or Supervisory Preferred
Education: Bachelor Degree or Equivalent
General Computer Skills
The Cash Banking Team Lead is accountable for managing the daily operations of the Cash Banking Team to process ACH transactions and various operational reports, resolve issues, and respond to inquiries from internal and external parties. This position is also responsible for training and coaching subordinates, communicating changes, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
