The Funding Analyst within Government Services performs real-time analysis and review of extensive documentation required by federal regulations for implementing the American Rescue Plan Act in response to the COVID-19 crisis. This position requires adaptability and willingness to shift focus, as program guidelines and processes are likely to change frequently.

Specific job duties include:
Financial Testing Processes
Serve as an effective team leader over a team of eligibility QA/QC analysts.
Provide regular feedback to team members on eligibility assessments and necessary benchmarks to meet the project deadline and goals.
Quickly become well-versed in funding guidance and regulations and serve as a subject matter expert to team members on eligibility related questions
Interpret Treasury guidance as it relates to a proposal and its eligibility for funding
Perform timely testing procedures on documentation of expenses provided by ARPA Fund recipients
Effectively manage testing pipeline and offer solutions to accelerate testing and review processes
Collaborate with team to recommend funding request ideas
Utilize technology for required data entry into system of record
Reporting Activities
Identify and report relevant information to ensure funding transparency and accountability
Contribute draft content for a public transparency website and collaborate with Associates and Supervisor on updates
Prepare real-time status reports of funding
Oversight and Compliance
Exercise day-to-day oversight and perform compliance analysis procedures of the program
Understand internal control framework to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse
Understand and assist in responding to state and federal oversight and monitoring activities
Candidates must possess the following:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, Public Policy, or other related field
Minimum of one (1) year in a professional office setting is preferred
Federal grant administration and compliance experience is a plus
Superior verbal and written communication with peers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the highest integrity serving as the steward of ARPA funding
