Original Penguin is searching for a Supervisor who can create an engaging shopping experience for our stylish customers. Responsibilities vary from;ensuring customer satisfaction, merchandising, replenishing of the sales floor, coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated task
Receive complaints and resolve problems
Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
Interacts with customers in a courteous, friendly manner (e.g., maintains eye contact, smiles)
Consistently greets customers in a prompt, friendly, and welcoming manner.
Demonstrates product knowledge and fashion trends when speaking with customers to consult shopper and drive sales (e.g., knowledgeable about product).
Consistently productive throughout the entire shift (e.g., effectively uses idle time to replenish product,maintain visual displays, engage with customers, etc.).
Consistently reports to work on time
Works with sense of urgency
Self motivated to drive and achieve (e,g., is motivated by goals, takes initiative). Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to perform effective selling techniques.
Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role
Strong verbal and written skills
Ability to lift 30Ibs merchandise onto the stockroom shelving which may require use of a ladder or step stool
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Customer service oriented. (outgoing, friendly, and personable with a positive attitude .
The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
