Your Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at John Deere, you will work on a product team and supportcritical products for Dealers and Customers, in order to do this you will;


  • Evaluate, design, and implement software solutions to help development teams be more effective at delivering high-quality products to John Deere's customers.
  • Collaborates with other developers and product team members to ensure success
  • Design complex/significant parts of a system/sub-system or works on a complete product of broad scope and solves well-defined problems with little guidance
  • You may act as a work lead, providing technical coaching to other engineers and support personnel; recognized as an expert user of critical technology; develops new software functionality for product development.
  • Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development.

What Skills You Need


  • Proven experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions leveraging change management specifically with front-end designs, development (CSS, HTML, Javascript) and optimization.
  • Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management, and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
  • Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment
  • Proven deep experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deliverysuch as GitHub and Jenkins
  • Deep experience with software test automation (TDD and Unit Testing Frameworks: Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Cypress)
  • 2 or more years of experience in developing mobile apps for both iOS and Android

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering
