Summary

This individual, will be a key individual in pricing and quoting out solutions for customers interested in our Press Brake tooling. They will have daily interaction with the customers via phone and email. They will be responsible for working with design engineers in other subsidiaries and communicating accordingly to get the customer the best solution for their application.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities


  • Technical tool quotations and sales support for CNC punch and press brake tooling products.

  • Work closely with tool design engineers, sales staff and customers to provide pricing, lead times for special tooling products.

  • Interfacing with customers via phone, email and in person.

  • Calculate required capacities to ensure tooling products meet customer and product specifications.

  • Work within all areas of our tooling department as needed.

Experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Solidworks, ME-10, SAP, MS Excel experience preferred. Experience operating and working with a Press Brake is preferred. Strong math skills required. Requirements include strong punch and press brake technical/sales experience, background in sheet metal fabrication, conceptualizing punch & die designs for sheet metal punching, forming and bending. TRUMPF punch and pressbrake equipment operation and TRUtops software product knowledge a plus. Read and review customer blueprints, CAD files, product specifications and other documentation to prepare quotations.

Education

2 years of technical experience is desired, AS degree mechanical engineering preferred, consideration given for direct industry related job experience.
