Job Summary

Responsible for the analytical and data support for complex Client Funding and Finance Operations processes and systems utilizing strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, independent judgement and technical expertise. Responsible for utilizing THP data systems to develop new code to maximize system reporting capabilities, and develop reports. Responsible for all Client Funding analytics and reporting for both internal and external clients. Responsibilities also include providing analytical and reporting support for all Client Funding and Finance Operation production. Responsible for supporting business implementation of all programs and initiatives impacting Client Funding and Finance Operations processes. This is a cross functional role that interacts with internal operations departments, sales team and external clients.

Job Description

  • Responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of analytical and ad hoc reporting required for all Client Funding processes. This includes client specific reporting, Advance funding and Level Monthly funding reporting, health care cost reporting and ad hoc analytical reporting both internal and external customers. Responsible for ensuring all ASO Medical Management Fee reporting is accurate and delivered to Senior Management timely. Independently conduct analysis and provide decision support by creating, analyzing, and effectively communicating results.

  • Responsible for supporting complex business implementation as a result of program changes, new health care costs, funding arrangements and corporate initiatives impacting Client Funding and Finance Operations processes. Responsible for documenting business requirements and communicating technical requirements efficiently and timely. Responsible for completing all required testing and analysis to ensure a successful implementation. Requires participation in interdepartmental workgroups to ensure all Client Funding and Finance Operations related financial reporting and operational requirements are met.
  • Responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of analytical and ad hoc reporting for all Finance Operations processes. This includes provider payment reporting, vendor payment reporting and all check run related processes. Independently conduct analysis and provide decision support by creating, analyzing, and effectively communicating results. Also responsible for analytical support for all Finance Operations business areas as needed.

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all Client Funding reporting in preparation for the weekly client funding invoicing process, including the validation of all health care cost reporting. Also responsible for the development and maintenance of complex health care cost reporting and including provider risk arrangement fees and state regulatory assessment fees that are invoiced to ASO clients. Work with IT and appropriate business owners to ensure all reporting is timely and accurate. Also responsible for coordinating and resolving any reporting issues affecting the Client Funding and Finance Operations production in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Responsible for assisting with system upgrades and maintenance for all Client Funding and Finance Operations systems, which include Lawson, Payspan, UCR, and Finance Funding Database (FFDB). Identify system enhancements and new reporting capabilities using THP systemsand collaborate with Manager to implement process improvements.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required.

  • Minimum Four to Six years of business and analytical experience with demonstrated advanced technical expertise.

  • Ability to work independently in a highly organized and self-motivating manner.

  • Ability to organize, manage and analyze large sets of data

  • Demonstrated experience with analytical work using multiple systems with the ability to validate and interpret results, and communicate these results effectively

  • Must be able to interpret complex business situations and understand the Financial Operations implication

  • Strong qualitative, analytical, critical thinking and creative problem solving skills Advanced Technical expertise in Excel is required.

  • Technical proficiency in Cognos, SQL, and VBA are highly preferred.

  • This position requires independent judgement and ability to make timely and sound decisions

Interpersonal skills


  • This position must be able to work collaboratively with all levels of staff and management across multiple departments

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
