FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. As an Inside Sales Specialist with FCX Performance/Corrosion Fluid Products, you will establish and expand relationships with our customers and field sales personnel.



You'll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their valves and instrumentation needs, while providing solutions/services to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results!



Responsibilities:

• Retain customers while developing new business.


• Sell company products and services to customers by processing orders, price and delivery inquiries, providing technical and application information, soliciting customer orders and suggesting additional products in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.


• Processes and expedites orders, customer returns and returns to vendors in an accurate and timely manner. Locates product and creates purchase orders. Follows-up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.


• Work closely with Outside Salesman in soliciting business, executing order transactions and maintaining superior customer service levels.


• Resolves customer issues such as warranty claims, product returns, credit and collection, and other customer service issues.


• Reviews open customer order reports and takes action on open items; specifically, those items that may be at risk in meeting the customer's promised delivery date. Maintains Distribution System backorder report, associated customer expediting report/notices, and customer notification, as required.

Position Requirements

• High technical aptitude


• Prior inside/outside sales experience


• Excellent internal/external communication skills with solid problem solving and presentation skills


• Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems


• Technical/flow control industry; valves, instrumentation/automation knowledge


• Mechanically inclined


• Computer proficiency including MS office


• Epicor P21 a plus


• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Industrial Distribution or Sales/Marketing; equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
