Overview

As a product manager, you will join a team supporting ArcGIS Business Analyst, a product providing location-based intelligence for market planning, site selection, and customer segmentation across dozens of industries. From analyzing commercial development sites to segmenting customers based on financial and lifestyle statistics, you will have the opportunity to bridge design, technology, and business to drive a product used by thousands of users!

Responsibilities

    Interview prospective and existing customers to determine and document market needs and user requirements for product direction and roadmap
  • Assist senior product managers in the development and maintenance of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap

  • Work closely with the UI/UX teams to create and iterate on design prototypes and validate them with users

  • Coordinate with senior product managers, software developers, product engineers, and designers to ensure that features meet out users' needs

  • Create and manage product resources including blogs, presentation, technical papers, videos, and demos to help users and Esri internal teams be up to date with product releases

  • Develop, manage, and communicate product go-to-market plan and work with marketing, sales, and global distributors to execute

  • Communicate product updates and vision to sales, marketing, and international distributors to enable them to grow product sales and adoption

  • Define, track, and analyze key product usage, adoption, and performance metrics to provide strategic recommendations

  • Develop and document user personas, user scenarios, and use cases

  • Work with contracts and legal team to establish necessary end user and third-party agreements

  • Support trade shows and Esri conferences as needed

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or product planning with strong focus on building market-driven products

  • Experience with UI/UX design projects

  • Familiarity with data and visualization products

  • Effective time management and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at the technical and senior executive level

  • Ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps

  • Bachelor's or master's in a technical field, e.g., computer science, engineering, or mathematics, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications


  • Experience with ArcGIS

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Industry experience in commercial real estate, retail, finance, and/or healthcare
