Job Description:

HORNE, LLP is looking for a Senior Dynamics Developer/Architect who is eager to deliver applications using Dynamics and complimentary systems. This position is to support a dedicated team in building proprietary systems to support core businesses within HORNE.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Standup and provision Dynamics environments

  • Define and document technical plans based on systems requirements

  • Serve as the key technical resource for development in Dynamics

  • Work with the delivery team to review and define gap analysis

  • Suggest and implement technology and process improvements

  • Build, support, and enhance Dynamics applications across the Government Services practice group

  • Support other Firm needs in Dynamics architecture as needed

  • Quickly adapt to change requests from programs and clients

  • Serve as the technical liaison among different functional groups

  • Assist in data modeling activities to support reports and BI resources

  • Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve system issues

  • Coordinate and perform in-depth testing with development and QA teams

  • Support UAT for modified and new functionality through issue resolution

  • Serve as a support for PROD break-fix

  • Teach and train new team members on best practices within Dynamics

  • Manage licenses and work with Cloud Service Providers

QUALIFICATIONS


To perform this job successfully, this individual must be able to perform each task above. In addition, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and abilities required.


Education/Experience Required:



  • 5-7 years of building and/or architecture design in Dynamics and PowerApps

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Azure

  • Experience with creating and defining test procedures

  • Experience with data extraction and modeling

  • Experience using DevOps or Jira for task management

  • Experience with or knowledge of building, integrating with, and supporting REST services

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technology related field; or Associates Degree + equivalent work experience

Education/Experience Preferred:



  • Power BI or other business intelligence tools

  • ETL applications such as Informatica and SSIS

  • Experience with Community Development Block Grant and Disaster Recovery is a major plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Travel as required (typically 10-25%)

  • Be empathetic to team member needs when crunch time hits
