We are looking for our next Residential Treatment Counselor!

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday:  6:30am-2:30pm and 2pm-10pm availability

Core Responsibilities:

• 
  Encourages and models appropriate interactions and behaviors: 
  
  
  • Assists with emotional outbursts associated with abuse and trauma, including behaviors such as aggression, defiance, and self- harm. 
  
  
  
  


• 
  Ensures health & safety:
  
  
  
  • Creates a positive, therapeutic, and safe environment which allows children to begin to heal and learn new strategies for a successful return to the community.  
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• The Residential Child Care Counselor requires high school diploma and some experience with special needs populations.


• The Residential Treatment Counselor requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field and experience with special needs populations; a valid driver’s license issued by the state of your residence with no state issued restrictions and no more than three (3) points that would impede your ability to operate a vehicle.


• The Residential Treatment Counselor II requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field and one year of experience with special needs populations; and a valid driver’s license issued by the state of your residence with no state issued restrictions and no more than three (3) points that would impede your ability to operate a vehicle.
