Equinix Sales Operations is building a worldwide Anaplan platform for sales target setting, sales crediting, quota planning, territory management and Finance planning. We are looking for an Anaplan developer to create and manage a suite of Anaplan based Planning tools using and expanding on our existing models and datasets. You'll be a part of Sales Strategy and the Planning team and will be a core member of a virtual global Planning team.

This role will have significant impact and influence crafting the use of Anaplan at Equinix. Eligible applicants therefore must have at least three years of prior experience with Anaplan development. The design phase will require coordination and requirement gathering across regions, functions and teams therefore listening, facilitation and relationship-building are core skillsets.

Responsibilities


  • Gather and understand customer requirements and work with Sales Operations and Finance to convert business requirements into improvements in our planning process.


  • Design and build Finance / Sales Target setting, Sales Comp Rules Engine models


  • Build an integrated roadmap of features for Finance / Sales Target setting process, enhancements for Quota Planning & Territory Planning.


  • Host monthly quota planning interlock sessions with Regional Sales Planning to ensure the alignment of the development, testing, and release of model enhancements with the global sales planning business calendar.


  • Maintain existing model, respond to issues and provide day-to-day administration of the system.


  • Optimize and automate data sourcing in support of all Anaplan models leveraging Anaplan Connect.


  • Work with the Sales Compensation team to optimize goal sheet issuance.


  • Collaborate with the Salesforce and IT teams to ensure changes made to contingent systems are planned for in Anaplan.


  • Create functional documents and handbooks to represent application design.


  • Handle Data Loads into Anaplan model.


  • Evangelize best practice use of Anaplan.


Qualifications


  • 2-4 years of experience with Anaplan, as a model builder preferred, or 10 years of related experience.


  • Green belt preferred.


  • Experience with full system implementation life-cycles (analyze, design, build, test, support).


  • Ability to translate spreadsheet models to scalable multi-dimensional Anaplan models.


  • 2 - 3 years’ experience with Salesforce.com preferred.


  • Strong understanding MS Excel and PowerPoint.


  • Strong facilitation and workshop skills.


  • Skilled in MS Office products.


  • BS or BA in Business, Operations Management, or Computer Science, Finance or Accounting preferred.


  • Curious individual with strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment.


  • Organization and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.


  • Strong understanding of outstanding processes for Quota Planning & Territory Planning.


  • Experience working with individuals in Asia and Europe, and Brazil.


  • Experience with ETL tools.

In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $98,000 - $132,000 per year with 20% bonus target.
