Details:

A I-9 Verification Coordinator job in Normal, IL is currently available through Belcan. To be considered for this role the candidate is responsible to have I-9"s completed within the first 3 days of employment and/or however indicated within the USCIS guidelines.

Description:

* Support our onboarding transactions, such as the I-9, to be accurate and handled in a timely and compliant manner
* Ensure the Form I-9 has been completed correctly based on Federal USCIS guidelines
* Coordinate with new hires to retrieve I-9 supporting documentation, verify the authenticity, and confirm they fall within the list of acceptable documents
* Responsible to have I-9"s completed within the first 3 days of employment and/or however indicated within the USCIS guidelines
* Follow up and close out I-9"s that may need further verification (SSA TNC, DHS TNC, human error, etc.)
* Help maintain and audit I-9"s to ensure 100% completion for all new hires and reverifications
* Provide support to People Operations team initiatives and share ideas/solutions to improve processes

Additional information:

* High School diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of client service experience
* 1-2+ years of experience in an Human Resources Organization or supporting HR programs preferred
* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality with sensitive data and conversations
* Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail
* Overall willingness to jump right in and feel comfortable with a high volume workload in a remote setting
* Must be able to learn and apply quickly, as well as to dispense/share knowledge in a team environment
* Detail oriented, works well in a team environment and ability to work independently
