Job Description:

Rea & Associates, CPA's and business consultants, is a Top 100 Accounting Firm. We are looking for a qualified Administrative Assistant to join our team in New Philadelphia, Ohio. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits in a great work environment. The Administrative Assistant supports our management team with the billing process/reporting and assists with the tax return assembly process.

Responsibilities:


  • Formats and corrects Financial Statements and Valuation Reports.

  • Proofreading of Financial Statements and Valuation Reports.

  • Process and assembly of tax returns.

  • Assists with preparing monthly billing for the region.

  • Maintains client information in the various software programs including CRM, Star, etc.

  • Forwards payable information to our corporate office.

  • Other administrative duties on an as needed basis.

  • Required overtime during high volume periods. Cross trained in other administrative roles.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior experience with a CPA firm is a plus.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a professional office environment.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Proficient with Word and Excel skills including the design and format of documents and worksheets.

  • Excellent math, vocabulary, spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

  • Ability to find the underlying cause of errors and assist with resolving those issues.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
