The Product Manager II is responsible for ensuring Tremco is properly addressing the changing needs of the market place as it relates to our product line offerings for the Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing market segments in North America. This high-energy position will support our high-performance building envelope strategy from a marketing perspective with an emphasis on the technical aspects of the products and the connectivity between adjacent building enclosure systems. This critical, hands-on position plays an integral role in the day-to-day tactical operations and the strategic growth of the product line.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adaptability Competency:
Intimately understand the features and capabilities of the products, how they relate to customer benefits and uses, and how the product compares to competitive or substitute products and solutions.
Identify testing and performance gaps in the Tremco offering and work with Technical Services and R&D to address them.
Attend and present at select trade shows/conferences as needed
Present at regional and national sales meetings.
Initiative Competency:
Lead and manage cross-functional teams as needed related to product or process improvements for the product line
Lead contact for international and intercompany inquiries and requests
Take the lead in managing interns and co-ops.
Resourceful Competency:
Work closely with market managers on developing business plans and product line strategy.
Execute all duties within the framework of the budget for the current fiscal year.
