Hillsborough, NJ

TECHNICAL & OPERATIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Manage daily plan of inbound raw and packaging materials •Review planned deliveries with Planning team to understand priorities and critical shipments •Track deliveries vs. plan and address late shipments with vendors •Ensure shipments are being received properly into JDE/DSI Cloud Inventory •Monitor outbound trailer pool and work with carriers to provide equipment required for production. •Work with customs brokers to clear shipments and provide information commercial invoices and tariffs.  •Assist in warehouse operations in relation to transportation; i.e. yard management, inbound appointments and priority loads.  •Communicate effectively with ocean carriers and freight forwarders on inbounds volumes, container allocation and shortages verification and approvals.  •Work with cross-functional teams assisting in transportation related functions. 
 

QUALIFICATIONS:
•High School diploma or GED equivalent required •Business degree a plus or equivalent experience •Must be able to work Day shift with possible occasional weekends.  •Demonstrated competency in attention to detail, accuracy, work standards, initiative and managing work •Ability to work with venders so will need strong people skills while working on phones or emails •Must have strong communication skills and command of English, both verbal and written •Proficient with computers, software, and data processing •Strives for Continuous Learning to Keep Skills up-to-date.
