Job Summary:


Summary:

Responsible for the management and oversight of the home care agency, including strategic planning, business development, financial performance, marketing and adherence to regulatory issues.

Program development aimed at increasing patient volume and continuing to provide quality state of the art service are essential components of the position.

Promoting a supportive professional work environment for staff is required.

Significant participation in work groups and committees supporting Virtua's Strategic plan is essential.

Provides overall leadership to assure the success of the agency.

Position Responsibilities:

* Oversees all home care operations and acts as a liaison between senior leadership, the staff and community.

* Responsible for implementing goals and objectives to carry out the Virtua Strategic Plan, new programs and acts as a change agent as appropriate.

* Understands and leverages financial information for the sustained operational viability and improvement to the organization.

* Creates commitment and ownership, encourages responsibility, helps others to set proper goals and priorities, delegates with clear expectations. Maintains a high degree of excellence and strives to improve self, staff and area at all times.

* Ensures employees understand what is expected of them relative to excellent customer service for both internal and external customers.

* Responds to customer complaints/requests immediately. Develops employee excellence through recruitment, retention, training, and motivation and reward programs.

* Manages leadership team while ensuring all Human Resources and Departmental policies are consistently reinforced and equitably followed.

* Fosters positive communication and develops effective relationships throughout the organization and within the community.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

Must have a minimum of7years progressive leadership experience in home health or hospital administation.

Must have a thorough knowledge of home care concepts.

Demonstrates management skills as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Education:

Master's degree in health administration or related field.
