TOA SE, Inc. seeks Vice President

In Nicholasville, KY. Manage relationships with domestic and Japanese customers in the manufacturing industry requiring industrial controls, factory automation and engineering services. Manage Accounting personnel in developing and tracking annual and multiyear budgets, creating periodic financial forecasts and providing adequate reporting to ensure proper financial management of the company. Prepare cash flow analyses to assess company liquidity. Analyze monthly financial statements and convey financial results in Japanese to senior management in Japan. Manage Technical Sales personnel in the development of business plans to achieve sales goals and strategies to increase sales. Manage Human Resources personnel in the recruitment, compensation, career development, assessment and training of employees. Direct Human Resources personnel in regard to employee benefits and review employee benefit renewals. Advise domestic and Japanese-speaking customers in Japan on technology upgrades and related products and prepare customer proposals. Manage Purchasing and Production Control personnel in identifying new vendors, ordering parts, scheduling delivery timing, making arrangements for materials shipping and delivery and monitoring in-house inventory movement. Negotiate sales contracts with domestic and Japanese-speaking customers in Japan and coordinate projects with the Engineering Department to begin production. Ensure workplace safety and compliance with OSHA requirements. This position requires 40% travel to customer sites in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Requirements: a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics or Economics or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Sales Manager, Sales Representative or closely related occupations. The required experience must include: (i) 3 years of experience developing and tracking annual and multiyear budgets and creating periodic financial forecasts; (ii) 3 years of experience managing relationships with international customers; (iii) 3 years of experience negotiating sales contracts with customers; (iv) 3 years of experience developing business plans, analyzing market scales, establishing pricing structure and identifying potential sales opportunities to achieve sales goals and strategies to increase sales; (v) 2 years of experience preparing cash flow analyses; and (vi) Must have near native fluency in speaking, reading and writing Japanese in a business setting.
