The primary focus of this position is to assist our operating companies (Opco's) improve their operational productivity & utilization of the Eclipse ERP system. The key areas of focus are:

• Reviewing Eclipse dashboard with Opco's & assisting them in improving performance.


• Developing & Implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) across Opco's as they related to the Eclipse ERP system for sales, branch operations, non-CDC warehousing, etc... / includes, evaluating & identifying opportunities for improvement.


• Training Opco's on various areas of the Eclipse ERP system (sales, branch operations, non CDC warehousing, Solar Eclipse, SOP's etc...) / the training can take place in a classroom setting (10-15 people), in small groups, one on one & via web sessions.


• Developing & implementing SOP's for new system features.


• Special Projects - This can include,
  
  
  
  • Assisting Opco's on projects they need help on.
  
  
  • Testing software modifications.
  
  
  • Assisting in the conversion process when converting an Opco to the Eclipse ERP system.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years working in distribution industry - experience in electrical distribution a plus.


• 5+ years working on Eclipse ERP system.


• 5+ years developing, documenting & implementing improvements within an organization.


• 5+ years leading & coordinating activities of teams necessary to achieve goals.


• Knowledge of O365


• Good knowledge of the distribution industry as well as a good understanding of the various functional areas within a distributor.


• Good knowledge of the Eclipse ERP system.


• Must be a good teacher in both a classroom setting (10-15 people) & in small groups.


• Must get along well with others & that includes being able to work effectively with people in different functions & levels at an Opco (this includes the executive team at the Opco)


• Must be able to set your own schedule, have a good work ethic & prioritize your work effectively.


• Must be able to lead a project & coordinate the activities of team members.


• Must understand the key metrics that drive the operations of a distributor.


• Travel - 1 week a month.
