About the Role

You will be the liaison between our clients and our Relationship Managers, managing the commercial banking portfolios while ensuring compliance and operational processes are followed. Your keen eye for detail and ability to be proactive and anticipate customer needs will be imperative in this role. Your advanced knowledge of commercial loan accounts, experience in assuring documentation is correct, and working properly will set you up for success.

What You Can Expect

Each day will be different, but with the same end goal. Building and maintaining relationships with our customers, assisting with any transactional needs; loan payments, advances, deposits, distributions, wire transfers, DDA transfers and receipts, will be a part of your daily duties. Long-term client satisfaction is your top priority.

Providing leadership to the less experienced Client Relationship Specialists and fostering a high-performance culture, while serving as the first point of escalation will be crucial to success.

In this team, we bounce ideas off each other and work collaboratively to support our Commercial Bankers, clients and business partners. This position allows for continuous growth and learning and provides exposure to different areas of the Bank.

How You'll Spend Your Time


  • You will proactively interact with clients, attorneys and accountants on a limited basis regarding highly complex account inquiries, problem resolutions and/or account maintenance issues.

  • You'll support the Commercial Bankers' clients and business partners through report monitoring, collaboration, research and problem-solving on moderately complex to complex issues.

  • You'll utilize Know Your Customer and Consumer Due Diligence on all new clients, including completing most of the documentation and entering the information into TouchPoint Sales and Service.

  • You'll manage exception reports and the requirements and process of clearing outstanding exceptions promptly.

  • You'll develop, design, and maintain information in spreadsheets and database programs using various software programs' most complicated features while generating and distributing routine reports.

  • You'll assist Commercial Bankers in developing new lending and depository business with existing and prospective customers, including preparing packages for Bank product presentations

Education & Experience Requirements

Required level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate's Degree and 6 + years' experience in a banking or customer service environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
