Quiality Assurance Engineer I


This position assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of processes, procedures and applications contributing to the overall objectives of maintaining an effective quality program including: Quality Assurance (QA) process development/verification, product and process controls, continuous improvement, qualitative methods and tools.


This is an entry-level position in professional field. The QA Engineer will be subject to the following: developing professional expertise and applying Laboratory policies and procedures to resolve QA issues; using and applying standard QA principles, theories, concepts and techniques as recognized within a profession or administrative specialty; providing resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors; contributing to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives; building productive internal/external working relationships; and developing working relationships outside of the immediate organization. The QA Engineer will receive detailed instructions on new projects and assignments and will be supervised and required to follow established directions. Work will be reviewed for accuracy, soundness of judgment and overall quality.


Education BS degree in engineering, quality assurance, industrial systems engineering, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
