The Billing Analyst with Gypsum Management and Supply, Inc. is responsible for supporting the vendor invoicing and intercompany billing process. This position is visible to both vendors and intercompany customers and requires an individual with the ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews vendor invoices and monthly statements and works to gather information and resolve issues.
Researches invoices and credit memos from vendors.
Resolves aged items.
Works as a backup to the EDI billing process.
Performs manual invoice processing, including printing barcode labels, scanning the documents into MaxRecall document management.
Retrieves and processes credit memos emailed from the vendors.
Builds relationships with vendors to ensure effective communication regarding invoicing questions.
Supports the company's internal customer invoicing process and researches questions from internal customers.
Investigates adjustments for rebates, pricing, damaged inventory, shortages, etc.
Supports the month-end closing process.

Answer intercompany customer and vendor inquiries promptly and professionally

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Distribution, retail, wholesale or manufacturing experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
