About the Position

We are seeking a Creative Design Lead to join our marketing team in VHB's New England Region, based in one of our offices. This role supports marketing, business development, client relationship, and brand stewardship activities across our 12 New England locations, elevating our messages and design strategies from concept through completion.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team across diverse disciplines, actively collaborating with design, marketing, communication, and technical practitioners and industry leaders. Our creative teams work on a wide variety of design projects that enhance our communities and the world around us. The Creative Design Lead will proactively guide graphic design efforts for the regional marketing team, which may include presentations, pursuits, collateral, ads, social media, email campaigns, videos, photography, infographics, client materials, while ensuring our brand's consistency.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience preferably in the A/E/C environment


• Bachelor of Arts, Graphic Design (or similar)


• Possess advanced level skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office


• Involvement in industry affiliations preferred (i.e. AIGA)

Responsibilities:

• Lead graphic design and preparation efforts through all phases of development and final production of materials, which may include large-scare proposals, dynamic presentations, visibility projects, and client materials


• Understand, follow, and verify proposal requirements for ongoing pursuits and presentations


• Participate in and present at kick-off meetings, check-ins, and final review meetings with technical staff


• Possess a strong understanding of photography, video, animation, email and web design, and social media


• Serve as brand ambassador


• Strong attention to detail, ensuring QA/QC standards are met


• Conceptualize, collaborate, and execute on design briefs and assignments while maintaining project vision


• Provide support on conferences, webinars, and other regional industry events


• Verify marketing deliverables comply with VHB corporate branding standards, formats, and template styles


• Coordinate interaction with third parties, including print vendors, photographers, and advertisers


• Actively learn about VHB's mission, markets, services, regional leadership, and organizational goals


• Collaborate efficiently and effectively with VHB colleagues and external clients


• Be a mentor and leader to designers and a valued regional thought leader in design


• Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Candidates will be requested to show design portfolios.

New employees will be onboarded virtually and begin their employment from home. We are in the process of planning for a safe return to the workplace in alignment with government and CDC guidelines.
