Global & Operational Support

The Global Support Specialist is responsible for driving differential value for the customer solutions team globally. This position will leverage import/export, global CAM support, and general corporate account team assistance to navigate business needs and develop solutions to support global capabilities. In collaboration with the CS team, training, and leadership the Global Support Specialist will provide best practices, technical solutions, and process improvement enabling improved service levels and desired value to Nexeo Plastics customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities:


  • Liaison to Global Supply Chain team for customer service needs, support, and creative solutions.

  • Acts as the point of contact for CAMs and CAM CSR team for import/export opportunities, quotes, and troubleshooting.

  • Assures efficient import/export operations, global trade compliance for the global team to provide desired outcomes.

  • Serves as an expert point of contact for the Product Line Management team to represent Customer Solutions and Global CAM coordination and systems.

  • Regular check-in and effective communication of project progress and potential issues. Develops communication tools to ensure a high level of awareness of policies, plans, procedures or study/project result

  • Provides assistance such as technical guidance or training to coworkers as needed in coordination with the training specialist.

  • Help to coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit or project scope.

  • Assist and facilitate in coordination with training specialist updates on cross-functional changes between departments.

  • Document Customer Solutions systematic and manual processes and coordinates with trainer to re-enforce consistency amongst the entire team.

Technical Analysis & Development


  • Facilitate Reporting, Master Data requests, and Analytical support to the CAM/Global team.

  • SAP/SFDC power user for the Customer Solutions team.

  • Acts as a liaison and technical resource for IT to define and communicate standards of operational policy, plans, and financial/performance reporting.

  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures with IT Business Solutions team.

  • Create, maintain, and perform testing for existing and new systems; updating existing test scripts to reflectcurrent processes and procedures.

  • Work withlegal, regulatory, compliance, and trainer to assure all documentation and processes for Customer Solutions are current and comply with established policies and procedures.

Position Qualifications:


  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or IT operations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Excel).

  • Familiarity with key technologies and solutions relevant to ERP, CRM, and data analytics.

  • Knowledgeable of policies, products, and regulatory requirements within the plastics industry a plus.

  • Understanding of project management and testing methodology and procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop test schedules and plans, track test errors, and report results.

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple issues simultaneously.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across various levels of organization.

  • Able to be drive projects to completion while overcoming internal and external barriers.

  • Ability to work as part of a project team or as project lead.
