Attractive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision - available day one!We are now hiring an experienced Mold Set Up Tech.This position is primarily responsible for setting up, starting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining injection molds and related equipment by performing the following duties:Keeps all molds in proper working order including:Cleaning molds.Assembling
Repairing
Reassembling
Applying proper lubrication.

Takes inventory and maintains stock on all mold components.Keeps the following mold set up supplies in proper order:Water Hoses
Fittings
Eye Bolts
Hand Tools

Performs mold changes when available.Maintains a clean and safe work environment.Documents all mold repairs, mold locations, and planned repairs.Sets up injection molds and related equipment for sample and production runs.Starts up and cycles in mold in accordance with documented cycles and startup procedures.Troubleshoots and corrects problem processes.Documents and reports mold and equipment related problems.Documents daily events in technician log.Fittings

Performs mold changes when available.Maintains a clean and safe work environment.Documents all mold repairs, mold locations, and planned repairs.Sets up injection molds and related equipment for sample and production runs.Monitors cycle times and part quality.Documents and records cycle information for future use.Adheres to cleanliness standards and product safety guidelines, including machine cleaning assignments.Cleans, finishes, and lubricates molds and mold parts.Observes, receives, and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources.Inspects molds to identify the cause of quality issues or defects.Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.Uses hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulates things.ACCOUNTABILITY:To record costs to budget for equipment needed to perform this job safely and efficiently.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
