Description

Lead the 3rd Shift Cutter Department at functional levels so desired goals are met or exceeded. Specific responsibilities include site safety, efficiency, and cost reductions while producing world class products meeting/exceeding required quality standards, delivery schedules, and material cost objectives. Drive standardization and rationalization for optimum efficiency and cohesive, standardized methodology across processes.

Manufacturing: Implement productivity improvement projects that continually deliver efficiency improvements in quality, cost, safety, and service level to internal and external customers.
• Safety & Environmental: Ensure the operation meets or exceeds EH&S site and corporate objectives. Implement the principles of SunCare and ensure employees embrace a culture of safety. Takes all appropriate measures to ensure that the plant operates in an environmentally sound manner.


• Scheduling: Coordinate with the scheduling function to assure production response to customer need.


• People development/training; succession planning (as both a part of production planning and being considered for higher positions.)

Position Requirements

Required Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED Requried


• 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably batch manufacturing

Preferred Exprerience:

• 5+ years progressive managerial experience in organic pigment or chemical manufacturing operation
