RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Your Impact

Marcus by Goldman Sachs is looking for an experienced and passionate team member to grow one of our most critical traffic channels. As the head of SEO for Marcus, you will be responsible for leading a team and working cross-functionally to develop our technical and product SEO roadmap, and implementing changes site-wide across all Marcus products, content and marketing pages.

Responsibilities

    Develop and execute technical, linking and content SEO strategies across Marcus to drive organic growth through improved rankings, site traffic and engagement
  • Analyze and report on SEO channel performance including traffic, keyword performance, site performance, site speed and competitive benchmarking

  • Oversee SEO implementation across content, product and partnership sites

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to ensure Marcus is optimized for SEO

  • Prioritize learnings on SEO trends and developments to ensure our approach is adaptive

  • Recommend improvements to our SEO tools, processes and workflows to create efficiencies

  • Develop and train our Marketing and Product teams on SEO best practices including site and data architecture, URL structure, metadata, etc.

  • Build and lead a best-in-class SEO team

  • Evangelize SEO across Marcus and all Consumer

Skills & Qualifications


  • X experience with both technical and content SEO

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a cross-functional environment

  • Analytical and data-driven; experience with pulling SEO trends/insights

  • Passionate about leading and developing teams

  • Strategic and innovative thinker

  • Skilled in web analytics tools (Adobe, Amplitude) and SEO tools (SEMRush, BrightEdge)

  • Bachelor's Degree
