Description

Responsible for safe, efficient operation of the lower level and plating material handling as well as process improvements, documentation, and raw material supply. Responsible for material inventory accuracy. Facilitate daily activities of employees in the Terminal Unit. Coach, teach and train staff in MBM practices and principles.

What You Will Do In Your Role





Coach, teach, and train staff in MBM practices and principles. Use MBM principles to run the department.


Manage the raw material adjustments and cycle counting duties for all the Terminal Unit.

Responsible for ordering and inventory management of materials. Communicates and works with packaging suppliers to overcome quality concerns.

Contain, document, and communicate issues with nonconforming materials.

Supervise and delegate tasks to all material handler employees.

Ensure multi-coil, lower level and plating material handling operations are running smoothly with high quality.







Communicate changes in company policy and procedures to staff.

Complete employee appraisals using 360 feedback, and MBM practices.

Coordinate attendance, overtime, vacation schedules, and maintain records.


Analyze current processing problems and solve these problems while maintaining a safe work environment and housekeeping up to 6S standards.

Good work history


Good management and presentation/communication skills, effective inter-personal skills, sound decision making skills, problem solving skills, team player, sense of urgency, multi-tasking ability


What Will Put You Ahead


3 years material handling experience, previous supervision experience, working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles


Strong mechanical skills, trouble shooting skills, knowledge of material handling systems, knowledge of raw materials, in-depth knowledge of SAP, knowledge of Microsoft Office software, strong background in quality
