What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Participate in appropriate meetings and/or conference calls with TR Logistics and Supply Chain team with focus on the following: initiatives and challenges, new growth, network adjustments and review, and visibility improvement

  • Engage with sales teams for promotions and inventory for future and current planning

  • Work with leadership to discuss growth areas in targeted areas

  • Provide operational assistance including tracking and tracing, backup load planning, and international support


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 1 year of experience in transportation or logistics


It'd be great if you also have:

  • 3 years of related experience in transportation operations

  • Knowledge of software like Oracle Transportation Management

  • Involvement operations execution environment

  • Extensive experience of verbal and written communication to executive leadership

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

  • Experience developing and executing strategic and process improvement initiatives

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Availability to Travel as Required
