Provide test engineering and project leadership skills to support Industrial Systems goals and objectives with respect to research, new product development, certification, and other projects involving physical testing of products. Perform, supervise, review, & improve testing of electric motors, generators, and associated components.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provides technical leadership related to test equipment, methods, analysis, and reporting
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing according to internal and external standards
• Apply technical knowledge to organize raw data into useful information in engineering reports
• Review test results and reports from technicians for accuracy and completeness
• Lead lab improvement projects
• Support validation of test equipment, software, and methods

• BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3 years experience in an engineering lab environment
• Experience applying statistical methods to acquire and analyze technical data
• History of successful project management
• Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems
• High-level technical writing skills
• Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
