This role is within the Variable Compensation team that supports Annuities, ILI and Group Insurance.  The Variable Compensation team is  responsible for the accurate administration of complex compensation plans utilizing sophisticated excel modeling and formulas.  A successful candidate will be able to analyze written plan documents and convert that into an auditable, controllable process while continually operating in a mindset of continual improvement and efficiency.  The candidate also needs to provide reporting and ad hoc analysis.  Hours are 8 AM - 5 PM EST.

The candidate will be expected to:


  • Primarily responsible for administering and calculating quarterly / annual payment calculations for qualified brokers including qualification determinations

  • Work with management to develop, maintain and distribute consultative reports and analytics

  • Work with management to provide year over year analysis of the effectiveness of the plans, forecast qualifiers and payments

  • Effectively communicate with Sales and Account management on broker qualification status

  • Responsible for partnering with Sales & Account Management to escalate commissions issues/appeals to the management of SCP

  • Partner with various department, include Business Intelligence to identify improvements and efficiencies

  • Special projects as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Four Year degree (mathematics, finance, computer science)

  • 5 years analytical experience with complex data.

  • Sophisticated Excel skills to include advanced modeling, formulas, macros, pivot tables, power pivot, data parsing functions

  • Proven financial / data analytics with extreme attention to detail

  • Ability to interpret documented plans intorepeatable, auditable, controllable processes Project Management experience a plus

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and change direction quickly

  • Work collaboratively and with various levels in the organization

  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing a plus

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Proven ability to work within a tight time constraints and deadlines

*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $68,600 - 92,700 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
