 This is an exciting opportunity in Galesburg, Michigan for a Project Manager- Purchasing.

  Your impact will happen in these and other ways: 


  • Represent the supply chain organization, and lead SCM actions in support of cross-functional program teams for new product development and supply continuity projects

  • Proactively monitor and resolve key supplier issues related to quality, delivery, and capacity

  • Review, craft and implement agreements related to conducting business with suppliers (e.g. award letters, long term agreements, surcharge agreements, NDAs)

  • Issue, adjust, and ensure appropriate payment of purchase orders to suppliers, and assist with supplier payment follow-ups as needed

  • Act as a liaison with 3rd party logistics providers to arrange for shipments of pre-production components, balancing logistics costs and required delivery schedules

  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to advise and steer supplier sourcing selection process

 Experience 


  • 3-5+ years of prior relevant experience that may include supply chain or project management experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate to all levels of the organization

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Education, Licenses, Certifications 

College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or other related degree

Compensation and Benefits 

Base salary commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
