Indirect Lending Secretary at COMMUNITY TRUST BANK INC

Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Develop and type reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, etc.

  • Answer telephones and relay messages, greet visitors, schedule appointments and sort and route mail.

  • Daily ACH payment of loan and reserve proceeds via CTB Business Internet Banking.

  • Daily reconcilement of the Indirect Lending ACH account.

  • Ongoing review of outstanding lien report.  Communicate with dealership personnel and local county officials to clear outstanding lien exceptions.

  • Duplicate reports and other documents using copying equipment.

  • Distribution of correspondence, reports, and other documents by interoffice mail or by fax.

  • Check out loan files and return as necessary.

  • Create files and binders to keep correspondence, reports, and other documents organized and filed as necessary.

  • Generate and mail audit letters to random sample of indirect accounts.

  • Special project assignments as necessary.

  • Assist in review of monthly reports.

  • Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.

 


SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE



  • Position normally requires about one year of education beyond high school consisting of specialized courses in such subjects as accounting, business administration, or banking as represented by a standard AIB certificate.

  • Over six and up to 12 months of experience.

  • Excellent PC skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other applicable software.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Metavante system.

  • Analytical skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
