You will be a member of Cognizant?s rapidly growing Sustainability Practice with focus on providing advisory services to executives and in leading transformational projects.

We are looking for an energetic advisor with a focus on quality and delivering value to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead environment sustainability advisory projects in areas such as sustainability reporting and data collection (scopes 1/2/3) footprint assessment circular economy decarbonization roadmaps and water/soil/waste management with clients in a variety of industries including CPG manufacturing energy and logistics.


• Participate in business and data strategy projects as a sustainability expert. Contribute to designing pilot implementation to enable identified sustainability initiatives.


• Analyze company?s business and sustainability needs and blueprint new circular business models.


• Help to develop client ready sustainability proposals.


• Join executive meetings and help business development and sales team in formulating value propositions in sustainable operations and transformations.


• Participate actively in researching sustainability and ESG regulations.


• Create thought leadership content including whitepapers webinars and new sustainability-focused advisory frameworks. Qualifications


• Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas:


• Carbon accounting for large corporates CSO advisory and sustainability reporting frameworks (such as GRI SASB etc.) analytics for sustainability reporting.


• Extensive expertise in at least one of the following is mandatory:


• Circular economy supply chain analysis/management lifecycle assessment.


• BS or MS in a scientific or engineering subject with focus on sustainability (e.g. industrial ecology sustainability economy environment engineering environmental science applied physics etc.).


• Knowledge in data and quantitative science.


• Nice to have: Experience in strategy and/or management consulting as hands-on advisor.
