Position Summary

  • Weld parts in accordance with drawing requirements.

  • Solder copper parts per specifications.

  • Maintain log book on all welding procedures.

  • Transfer information and knowledge across shifts as required; Work as a team to ensure completion of product in a timely manner.

  • Clean and maintain work area by supporting 5S program.

  • Knowledge of M2M.

  • 5+ years Aerospace TIG welding experience

  • NADCAP Certification experience

  • Sheet metal Welding, .020"-.125" thicknesses is a must

  • Experience with Stainless welding (at least)

  • Inconel, Titanium, Kobalt and Aluminum experience is a huge plus

  • Sheet metal experience is also a huge plus (Deburr, straightening parts, forming parts)

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent;

  • Welding certification including MIG/TIG;

  • Manual dexterity required;

  • Ability to setup welding equipment;

  • Ability to read blueprints;

  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods;

  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses and maintenance;

  • Determining the kind of tools and equipment required to perform a job.
