The University of Virginia Bookstore is seeking a highly motivated professional for the Customer Service Specialist. This role will provide front-end operation support which includes but is not limited to advance level customer service and cashier duties, department purchases, athletic scholarship sales, administrative tasks, and occasional supervision of student cashiers. At times will be required to open or close the store. Excellent cashier and computers skills are required. Must be able to manage a high volume, multi-task environment while always keeping a professional demeanor. Must be a team player and able to work weekends and occasional evenings for a 7-day retail store operation. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required


Requirements: Advance Customer Service Skills, Motivated, Professional and Team Player.


Retail experience preferred - One to three years
