Summary of Duties:

This position supports Global Campus online course production and design by working with WSU Online staff and WSU faculty to update and prepare online courses. This position also has emphasis on conducting trainings for faculty and staff to learn how to use educational technologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Two years of experience in any combination of the following: providing assistance and support to end users to identify, resolve and/or refer technical issues; experience with learning management systems OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Demonstrated experience using and learning new technologies.

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office software.

  • Ability/willingness to work nights and/or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with exam proctoring, or knowledge of academic integrity issues.

  • Experience in distance or online education or higher education supporting or instructing students.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues in seeking innovative solutions to new and ongoing tasks.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing, high stress environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to train and supervise others.

  • Bachelor's degree.
