SIUE's Graduate and International Admissions office is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Program/Student Advisor, International and Graduate Recruiter position. The selected candidate will serve on a team of individuals which will develop and implement graduate (domestic and international) and international (undergraduate and graduate) recruitment and admission strategies for SIUE. These duties will include the development of long-term market cultivation strategies and recruitment relationships, as well as the day-to-day implementation of direct recruitment and yield strategies and overall integrated marketing efforts. The Recruiter will maintain and implement, in coordination with the Enrollment Management IT specialist, strategic communication plans using various platforms such as Radius and other external programs. This position will also assist with special events promoting the Graduate School such as the Open House and Scholar Award.

The International and Graduate Recruiter will support the Graduate School and graduate academic departments in the development and ongoing implementation of customized recruitment programs, including initiatives that support the recruitment of diverse student populations. Support will involve developing relationships with domestic feeder institutions, including specific engagement with historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and minority serving institutions, visiting these campuses for education fairs recruitment related events, and establishing partnerships that create pathways for their students to graduate programs at SIUE. In addition, the International and Graduate Recruiter will work collaboratively with International Student Services and the Director of Graduate and International Recruitment on international recruitment efforts and activities/programs supporting prospective and new international students. Due to the professional duties of this role, frequent travel (including international), evening and weekend work hours will be required. Further duties and responsibilities may be assigned in support of the department's mission and goals.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in higher education recruitment or student services.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in a related field.
2. Demonstrated success in recruiting international or graduate students.
3. Ability to obtain a valid passport.
4. Experience working with diverse student populations and/or with diversity initiatives.
5. Ability to speak more than one language fluently.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of SCT Banner and/or Radius.
7. FI and JI visa training or experience.
8. Familiarity with the SEVIS system.
9. Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
10. Experience with student information systems and CRMs.
