General Description / Primary Purpose:

The Coordinator University Budgets, under the direction of an Assistant Director or above, assists in the design, development and implementation of departmental processes and/or programs. Recommends policies and procedures to ensure effective coordination of departmental programs.

Job Function:

This position reports directly to the Dean of the College of Computing, Engineering and Construction (CCEC). The current structure of CCEC is the Dean's Office, School of Computing, Construction Management Department, School of Engineering, the Taylor Engineering Research Institute (TERI) and the Material Science and Engineering Research Facility (MSERF) . Essential functions include, but are not limited to: - Oversee fiscal activities of all units within CCEC to ensure compliance of all budgetary policies. - Work closely with Academic Affairs and the UNF Budget Office on all fiscal issues. - Responsible for researching and providing any data requested by the Dean for short or long range planning. - All fiscal responsibilities for the Dean's office (includes purchasing and reconciling accounts). - Assisting the CCEC units as needed with all fiscal matters, including review of expenditures for budgetary control. - Controls receipt and/or disbursement of funds to and from the CCEC units. - Facilitate year end close out with department directors/chairs/office managers. - Provide assistance to department directors/chairs with new fiscal year budget requests. - Input all budget requests for CCEC. - Provide on-going reports to the Dean on the fiscal condition of all units within CCEC. - Provide various fiscal reports to the Dean and/or Academic Affairs as requested. - Train Office Managers within CCEC who are responsible for fiscal activities for their units.

Marginal Functions:

The person in this position is responsible for providing the Dean of the college with any information/assistance as required.

Required Qualifications:

A Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a directly related area of specialization; or a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and two years of experience directly related to the job functions.
