-This position requires an employee to be onsite monthly



Responsible for working cross functionally to obtain and create future demand plans supporting CCA sales channels (Retail, Wholesale, ACDelco)
•This is a new position with GM CCA, looking ahead in our Demand & Supply planning process to capture growth, supply constraints & Risk/Benefits


  • Work with cross-functional partners in sales / marketing and product teams to create proposed demand plans and analyze for impact to revenue targets, for short, mid and long-term planning time horizon


  • Ability to analyze and assess complex sales teams and customer ordering patterns for use as inputs for future planning


  • Coordinate inputs with other demand planning analysts to create a consolidated, unconstrained demand plan


  • Coordinate with supply planning analyst to understand constraints in the supply chain and work to create alternate solutions to achieve revenue targets and reduce risks to the supply chain


  • Identify risks and opportunities to forecast based on statistical analysis, events evaluation, and customers' feedback


  • Provide day to day support regarding problem solving and escalate to leadership as required


  • Understand S&OP parameters required to support effective S&OP governance


  • Able to adapt to large Network Design studies and evaluate design outputs


  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators for GMNA S&OP


  • Develop new methods and analysis to solve demand planning gaps to targets


  • Perform ad hoc analysis of demand to support S&OP


  • Key Competencies and Skills: CCA sales expertise, timely decision making with limited information (ambiguity), autonomy, strong communication skills, and ability to coordinate cross functionally and drive innovation

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience, MBA preferred


  • Working knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning parameters and overall objectives


  • Ability to excel in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues, while maintaining positive working relationships with peers and leaders


  • Ability to analyze large data sets and solve complicated issues with limited direction from supervisor


  • Proficient use of Demand Planning Tools, MS Excel, PowerPoint & Access


  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to contribute to diverse/cross-functional teams


  • Effective communicator with solid oral and written presentation skills
