BS in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
2+ years of experience in electronic component design
Understanding of engineering theory and principles of operation of mechanical/electrical mechanisms
Specific knowledge of engineering mechanics, physics, metallurgy and manufacturing methods engineering
High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others
Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area
High level of oral and written communication skills
Additional Job Description
MS in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of experience
Prior experience in electrical/electronic component design/release
Prior experience in solving complex electrical, mechanical, and thermal integration problems
Prior experience in working with components requiring complex thermal solutions (e.g. cooling system)
Prior experience in working with computing components such as, but not limited to, GPUs, CPUs, SSDs, and network switches.
Electronic Validation Experience
Understanding of HIL test methods
Design/Development of Safety Critical Systems/Components
Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering for DFM
Prior experience negotiating between parties
Prior experience outside automotive a plus for fresh perspective
Prior commercial experience a plus for negotiations with supply base
